It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. The Indiana Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officials (IAAO) strives to bring education and networking opportunities to the Indiana assessment community.

The Indiana Chapter also offers a Sponsorship/Donor Membership for companies in the industry that want to help us promote the solution of education and cooperation.

Annual Dues:

The annual Indiana Chapter of the IAAO dues, independent of the actual IAAO dues, are payable on March 1.

Regular Membership:

Regular membership is available to all officers, officials, and employees of a governmental jurisdiction who have any or all of their duties related to property valuation, tax administration, or policy; all persons engaged as individuals, or employees of an organization, who exclusively spend their time to provide professional services to said government jurisdictions in the support of property valuation, tax administration, or policy; however, professional services do not include the provision of hardware, software, equipment, or the sale of either goods or services to said jurisdictions.

Cost for a Regular Membership is $20.00 per year

Sponsor/Donor Membership:

This type of membership is available for companies and organizations that are committed to advancing professional education and strengthening the standards of property assessment throughout Indiana, as we are. Sponsorship/Donor membership plays a vital role in that mission. Your support directly helps fund:

• Annual educational conferences and workshops

• IAAO designation and continuing education courses

• Training materials and instructor resources

• Scholarships for new and developing assessors

• Expanded educational opportunities, including hybrid and virtual delivery
